Turn On/Off Ultra Battery Saver auf Xiaomi
Ultra battery saver is the strictest power mode on Xiaomi phones running MIUI. Once active, it pauses almost every background process, blocks most apps from running unless you open them directly, and switches the display to a dark theme to cut power draw further.
This mode kicks in automatically when the battery reaches a very low level, but you can also switch it on manually before a long day without a charger. To enable it yourself, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Battery & performance ➔ Enable Ultra battery saver ➔ Tap on OK.
Turning it off works the same way: open the same battery menu and disable the toggle. The phone then returns to normal background activity and restores your previous display theme.
When to use a different fix
If you only want longer battery life without losing app notifications, the regular power saving mode is usually the better choice, since it throttles performance instead of blocking apps outright.
Ultra battery saver is meant for emergencies, like needing your phone to last for calls and messages when a charger is not available. Expect delayed notifications, paused syncing, and limited access to apps outside a short allowed list while it is active.
