Turn On/Off Wi-Fi Calling auf Xiaomi
Wi-Fi calling lets your Xiaomi phone send and receive calls over a wireless network instead of the mobile signal. This helps in spots with weak reception, such as basements, elevators, or buildings with thick walls, as long as your Wi-Fi connection is stable.
The feature only works if your network provider supports it and has activated it for your plan. If it is not supported, the option will not appear in your settings at all, regardless of your phone model or MIUI version.
How to turn Wi-Fi calling on or off
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on SIM cards & mobile networks. If you use two SIM cards, first Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) for the number you want to configure.
Inside that menu, find Enable or disable Make calls using Wi-Fi and switch it on or off. The change applies immediately, no restart needed.
Turn the toggle off again if calls sound distorted or drop unexpectedly on unstable Wi-Fi. In that case the mobile network alone is often more reliable, especially outdoors.
When the option is missing
If you cannot find the Wi-Fi calling entry under your SIM settings, contact your carrier first. Many providers require an explicit activation on their end, and some plans or SIM types simply do not include the feature.
