Turn On/Off Adaptive Battery auf Android
Adaptive Battery is a system function that learns which apps you open regularly and which ones you barely touch. Rarely used apps get moved into a restricted bucket: their background activity, network access, and job scheduling get throttled to save power.
This is why some apps stop sending push notifications until you open them manually, or why a widget stops refreshing in the background. The system is not broken - it is deliberately limiting an app it considers low priority based on your usage pattern.
Turning the feature off removes these restrictions for all apps, which can fix delayed notifications and stalled background syncing, but it also increases overall battery consumption since every app keeps running in the background as usual.
If only one specific app misbehaves, it is often better to leave Adaptive Battery enabled and instead exempt that single app from battery restrictions, rather than disabling the feature system-wide.
To change the setting, follow this path:
Settings ➔ Battery ➔ Battery Saver ➔ Adaptive Battery ➔ enable or disable Use Adaptive Battery.
