Turn Battery Saver On or Off auf Android
Battery Saver is a system-level power mode that reduces background activity once your device reaches a defined charge threshold, or whenever you switch it on yourself.
Once active, it can dim the display, limit location accuracy, pause background app refresh, and reduce visual effects. This keeps the phone running longer, but it can also delay notifications or slow down apps you rely on in the background.
Where to find the toggle
Open Settings ➔ Battery ➔ Battery Saver, then enable or disable Use Battery Saver.
From the same screen you can usually set the percentage at which the feature turns on automatically. If you disable the automatic trigger, the toggle stays fully manual and only switches on when you tap it yourself.
When to leave it off
If you depend on real-time notifications, background downloads, or precise location tracking for navigation, turning Battery Saver off during that time avoids interruptions. Switch it back on afterward if your charge is running low and a charger is not nearby.
