Turn Off Charging Sound and Vibration auf Android
The short beep and buzz you hear when you plug in a charger is a built-in feedback signal, not a system alert or a warning about battery health.
Android triggers this sound through the same sound profile that controls ringtones and notification tones. If your phone is set to a loud profile, the charging sound plays at full volume, which is why it can be jarring at night or during a meeting.
You can disable this feedback completely without affecting other notification sounds. Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sound & vibration ➔ Enable or disable Charging sounds and vibration and switch the toggle off.
Turning this off only mutes the charging cue itself. Ringtones, message alerts, and other notification sounds stay untouched, so you do not lose any other audio feedback by disabling it.
If you only want silence at night but keep the sound during the day, a scheduled Do Not Disturb or Focus mode is a better fit than disabling the charging sound permanently.
