Turn VoLTE Calls On or Off auf Android
Without VoLTE, an Android phone routes voice calls through the older 2G or 3G network, even when a 4G connection is active for data. That fallback explains choppy audio, slow call setup and extra battery drain, since the modem has to switch between radio types.
VoLTE (Voice over LTE) keeps calls on the same 4G network as your data connection. Setup is faster, audio quality improves noticeably, and the modem no longer has to jump between network types mid-call.
Where to enable or disable VoLTE
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Network & internet ➔ Tap on SIMs ➔ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) ➔ Enable or disable VoLTE.
On dual-SIM devices, the toggle applies per SIM card, so check both slots if only one line has the problem. If the option is missing entirely, your carrier has not activated VoLTE for that SIM, and no setting on the phone will unlock it.
Turn VoLTE off only if you are troubleshooting a network issue or your carrier explicitly asks you to, since disabling it forces calls back onto 2G or 3G with weaker quality.
