Clone Apps with App Cloner auf Oppo
Many messaging and social apps only support one active account per install. On Oppo phones running ColorOS, the App cloner function solves this by creating a second, fully independent copy of an app on the same device.
The clone runs separately from the original: separate login, separate notifications, separate local data. Nothing you do in the cloned app affects the original app or its account.
This is the built-in system feature responsible for the behavior described above, and it is reached through Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on App management ➔ Tap on App cloner. From the list, select the app you want to duplicate with Choose an App, then use Enable or disable Create app clone to turn the clone on.
When to use it, and when not
App cloner works best for apps that support only one login per install, such as messaging or social apps. If an app already offers a built-in multi-account switcher in its own settings, use that instead, since it avoids running two separate app instances and saves storage.
Not every app on the device will appear in the App cloner list. Some system apps and apps that block duplication for security reasons are excluded, and this cannot be forced through the settings.
Keep in mind that a clone takes up its own storage space and needs its own login on first launch, since it does not share data with the original app.
