Factory Reset: Erase All Data auf Oppo
A factory reset removes every app, account, file and personal setting from your Oppo phone and restores the software to its original state. It's the right move when the device runs sluggish despite clearing cache, before handing the phone to a new owner, or when persistent glitches don't respond to smaller fixes.
Installed software updates are the only thing left untouched by this process, so the system version itself won't roll back. Everything else, including photos, messages, downloaded apps and saved Wi-Fi passwords, gets erased and cannot be recovered afterward without a prior backup.
Menu path for the reset
On Oppo phones running Android with the ColorOS interface, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Back up and reset ➔ Tap on Erase all data (factory reset) ➔ Tap on Erase all data ➔ Tap on Erase data.
Before confirming the last step, make sure any cloud backup finished syncing and that your SIM and memory card are removed if you plan to sell the device. The phone restarts automatically once the reset completes and boots into the initial setup screen.
