Reset Access Point Names (APNs)
If mobile data drops out or MMS messages fail to send after switching carriers or SIM cards, leftover or conflicting APN entries on your Realme phone are usually the reason. Realme keeps every access point name ever added, and an outdated entry can override the one your active SIM actually needs.
Change Preferred Network Type
If your Realme phone shows weak or no 4G signal, calls and mobile data can stop working even though the SIM is active. Switching the preferred network type to a lower generation like 3G often restores a stable connection in these dead zones. This setting also matters when your carrier has not fully rolled out newer coverage in your area.
Change SIM PIN
A new SIM card usually ships with a default PIN chosen by your carrier, and that code is rarely one you would pick yourself. On Realme phones this PIN lives in the Security settings, completely separate from your screen lock or device password. Add a Wi-Fi Network Manually
If your Realme phone cannot find a Wi-Fi network in the scan list, the router is often set to hide its SSID instead of broadcasting it.
