Turn On/Off Extreme Battery Saver auf Android
Extreme Battery Saver is a stricter version of the regular power saving mode on Android. It suspends almost all background activity, limits app performance, and switches the interface to dark mode to reduce screen drain.
Only a small set of essential apps keeps running, so messaging, alarms, and calls still work while everything else pauses until you open it manually. This is why notifications from social media, email, or delivery apps can arrive with a noticeable delay while the mode is active.
You control this setting through Settings ➔ Battery ➔ Battery Saver ➔ Extreme Battery Saver, where you can enable or disable Use Battery Saver directly.
Use it when you need a phone to last through a long day with no charger nearby, not as a permanent setting. If apps you rely on need constant background updates, the regular battery saver or per-app battery restrictions are usually a better fit, since they cut power use without blocking as much functionality.
Once you turn the toggle off, background processes and full performance return immediately, and dark mode stays as it was before you enabled the feature.
