Fingerprint Setup
Oppo smartphones with fingerprint sensor not only offer another unlock method, but also allow faster payment processes and other authentications. It can also be used for app locking or private safe. Under ColorOS, multiple fingerprints can be added, even from different people.
Note: To add a fingerprint, the screen lock must be set up.




- Open the Settings
- Tap on Fingerprint, face & password
- Tap on Add fingerprint
- Enter your current Password/PIN/Pattern
Fingerprint access
With Privatsafe, data and apps can be stored in a safe place on the Oppo smartphone, and in addition to the privacy password, which can be a password, pattern or PIN, the fingerprint sensor can also be used to unlock the device.







- Open the Settings
- Tap on Fingerprint, face & password
- Tap on Fingerprint
- Enter your current Password/PIN/Pattern
- Tap on Use fingerprint for
- Enable or Disable Private Safe
- Enter your privacy password
Fingerprint Scanner for App Lock
On the Oppo smartphone, apps can be locked and unlocked with a PIN or password, and we can also unlock the app with the fingerprint sensor, but this must first be activated in the settings.
Note: To enable this feature, a privacy password must be set.







- Open the Settings
- Tap on Fingerprint, face & password
- Tap on Fingerprint
- Enter your current Password/PIN/Pattern
- Tap on Use fingerprint for
- Enable or Disable App lock
- Enter your privacy password
Rename Fingerprint
Newly created fingerprints are given a consecutive number on the Oppo smartphone by default (Finger 1, Finger 2, ...) We can rename every single registered fingerprint on request.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on Fingerprint, face & password
- Tap on Fingerprint
- Enter your current Password/PIN/Pattern
- Tap on Fingerprint you want
- Enter a new Name and confirm with Save
Remove fingerprint
Fingerprints that are not required should be removed from the Oppo smartphone for security reasons, whether they are your own or other people's fingerprints.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on Fingerprint, face & password
- Tap on Fingerprint
- Enter your current Password/PIN/Pattern
- Tap on Delete
- Confirm with Delete
