Oppo How to Manage SIM Cards

Enable or Disable SIM card
SIM cards can be activated or deactivated on the Oppo Smartphone independently of each other. For example, to be unreachable on a SIM card, it does not have to be forcibly removed from the device. To do this, it is sufficient to activate (or deactivate) the switch in the settings.




- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Choose desired SIM card
- Enable or Disable Enable
Default SIM card for calls
If two SIM cards are inserted in the Oppo Smartphone, the default SIM card can be determined for calls, and the defined SIM card is used for outgoing calls.




- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Tap on Calling
- Choose between SIM1, SIM2 and Always Ask
Default SIM card for mobile data
In addition to calls, a standard SIM card for mobile data can also be changed and the device will only use the specified SIM card for mobile data.
Note: After changing the default SIM card, the device will search for a network again.





- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Tap on Mobile data
- Choose between SIM1 and SIM2
- Confirm with Switch
Display name of SIM card
On Oppo smartphones with dual SIM, the SIM cards are named SIM1 and SIM2 by default. To make the SIM cards more easily distinguishable, the name of the respective cards can be changed as required. The maximum permitted length is ten characters.





- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Choose desired SIM card
- Tap on SIM card name
- Enter desired Card Name and confirm with Save
