Adaptive brightness
The LG can also automatically adjust the brightness of the screen to maximize battery life by adjusting the brightness according to the ambient light.



- Open the Settings
- Tap on Display
- Enable or Disable Auto
Dark Mode
On the LG smartphone, we have the option of using the messages app in dark mode, where the whole design is mainly kept in dark colours.



- Open the Messages-App
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Enable dark mode / Disable dark mode
Screen Rotation
The screen content rotates by default on the LG smartphone depending on the position of the device, but if automatic rotation is not desired, the screen can also be fixed in portrait or landscape mode.



- Open the Settings
- Tap on Display
- Enable or Disable Auto-rotate screen
Screen Timeout
By default, the LG screen turns off automatically after 30 seconds. The screen off time can be changed or deactivated. The latter causes the screen to stay on permanently. The following times can be selected on the LG device:
- 15 seconds.
- 30 seconds
- 1 minute
- 2 minutes
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes

- Choose desired Tiemout
Easy mode
For a simplified view, you can activate the Easy Mode, which is called EasyHome on LG smartphones. When Easy Mode is activated, the display of font and app icons is greatly enlarged, and you can add shortcuts to contacts in predefined locations on the Home screen.

- Tap on Select Home
- Tap on Easy Home
- Confirm with OK
Comfort view
On the LG device, a comfort view can be activated to reduce eye strain in dark environments. This is made possible by reducing blue light. The blue light can be adjusted to your needs using a filter. In addition, the comfort view also allows a black and white view.
The comfort view, known as night mode on Android, can be switched on or off manually or by means of a schedule, which can be activated by a set time or automatically from sunset to sunrise.

- Enable or Disable Use Comfort view
Adjust brightness
The screen brightness can be adjusted manually on the LG unit, and by default, the change can be made using the quick settings or the normal display settings.
Note: The screen puts the most strain on the battery; the brighter the screen is set, the shorter the battery life.

- Tap on Display
- Move the slider to adjust the brightness
Display size
On the LG device, you can change the display size, which is similar to changing the screen resolution. When the display size is changed, elements (icons, font, windows, etc.) are displayed larger. Depending on the model, the display size can be reduced or increased.

- Move the slider to adjust the screen size
One-handed mode
On the LG device, a gesture can be used to start the mini-view, whereby the screen content is scaled down into a window and placed in the lower right corner. The size or position of the mini-view can be freely selected, allowing one-handed operation.
The mini view, or one-handed mode, can be started by a wiping gesture (from left to right, or right to left) on the control bar.

- Wipe left or right on the navigation bar to activate the one-handed mode
- Tap on Close to end the one-hand mode
Schedule Comfort view
For the blue light filter (comfort view), a schedule can be set in addition to manual activation/deactivation, or the filter can be automatically controlled from sunset to sunrise.

- Tap on Comfort view
- Tap on Schedule
- Enable or Disable Schedule
- Choose between From sunset to sunrise and Set time
