Keyboard Size

On the LG smartphone, the keyboard occupies about 30 percent of the lower screen area ex works. the height of the keyboard can be increased or decreased up to 50 percent in the settings. By changing the keyboard height, the key assignment remains the same. the individual keys are only stretched in length.

Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  General
Step 3:  Tap on  Language & keyboard
Step 4:  Tap on  On-screen keyboard
Step 5:  Tap on  LG Keyboard
Step 6:  Tap on  Keyboard height and layout
Step 7:  Tap on  Keyboard height
Step 8:  Move the  bar  to adjust the keyboard height

Keyboard type in landscape format

When the LG smartphone is used in landscape mode, the keyboard does not stretch across the full width, but the compact keyboard can also be disabled, which will display the keyboard across the full width in landscape mode.

Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  General
Step 3:  Tap on  Language & keyboard
Step 4:  Tap on  On-screen keyboard
Step 5:  Tap on  LG Keyboard
Step 6:  Tap on  Keyboard height and layout
Step 7:  Tap on  Keyboard type in landscape
Step 8:  Choose desired  Type
Step 9:  Confirm with  Apply

  5. Tap on LG Keyboard
  6. Tap on Keyboard height and layout
  7. Tap on Keyboard type in landscape
  8. Choose desired Type
  9. Confirm with Apply

Number Keys

The extended keyboard is enabled by default on the LG smartphone, where an additional line of numbers is displayed above the letters. If the number bar is disabled, the numbers can be accessed via pop-up menus on the letters.

Smart toolbar

Above the keyboard, a smart toolbar with various functions is displayed, including a shortcut to the keyboard settings, the emoticon selection list, etc. The clipboard can also be managed using the LG keyboard's smart toolbar.
