Quick calling
If Quick calling is activated on your Huawei device, you can make a call while the display is on standby. To start a quick call, you need to press and hold the volume down key and say the name of the contact you want to call.






- Open the Phone App
- Open the menu
- Open the settings
- Tap on Voice control
- Tap on Quick calling
- Activate or deactivate Quick calling
Voice Broadcast for incoming calls
If voice broadcast is activated and your Huawei device is connected to a headset, you will hear the default ringtone if a call is incoming instead of the custom contacts ringtone.

- Open the menu
- Open the settings
- Tap on Voice control
- Activate or deactivate Voice broadcast incoming calls
Call forwarding on/off
By default, call forwarding on your Huawei device is set up by mobile carrier standards. Usually, calls will be forwarded if your line is "busy", there is "no answer" or your device is "not available". The forwarding can be (de-) activated for each case by itself, or you can set up a different phone number as a call receiver.






- Open the Phone app
- Open the menu
- Open the settings
- Tap on Call forwarding
- Choose When busy, When unanswered or When unreachable
- Confirm with Change
Wi-Fi calling
If calls over Wi-Fi is activated on your Huawei device, you can, depending on signal strenght, make calls within a Wi-Fi network.
Note: If you activate Wi-Fi calling for the first time, you will be notified that it is not possible to make emergency calls using Wi-Fi calling.






- Open the Phone app
- Open the menu
- Open the settings
- Tap on Wi-Fi Calling
- Activate Wi-Fi Calling
- Confirm with Enable
Call waiting
If someone calls you, while you are already phoning with someone else, your Huawei device will notify you optically and acustically that another call is incoming. You can turn on or off this little knocking sound in the settings.
Note: If you are using dual SIM cards, you can activate or deactivate the Call waiting function for each SIM individually.

- Tap on More
- Activate or deactivate Call waiting
Send caller-ID
By default, your own phone number will be transmitted to your interlocutor. The Huawei device uses the standard network settings of your mobile carrier. Sending the caller-ID can be surpressed if wished. This setup will be saved on your SIM card.
Note: If you use dual SIM cards, you can activate or deactivate sending the caller ID individually.






- Open the Phone App
- Open the menu
- Open the settings
- Tap on More
- Tap on Caller-ID
- Choose between Network default, Hide number or Show number
Call barring
To save money, for example if you are in another country, you can activate call barring on your Huawei device. The following options can be (de)activated individually:
- All outgoing
- Outgoing international
- Outgoing calls when roaming
- All incoming
- Incoming calls when roaming
Note: If you use dual SIM, you can set up call barring individually for each SIM.
Please retrieve your call barring password from your mobile carrier.

- Tap on Call barring
- Activate or deactivate the desired call barring setting
On/off button ends call
If this function is activated on the Huawei device, we can end a call by pressing the power button.

Call forwarding between SIM
Like the title says, you can forward calls from one SIM card to the other SIM card on your Huawei device, if one of the two is not available or defective.





- Open the settings
- Tap on Mobile network
- Tap on SIM management
- Tap on Call forwarding between SIMs
- Activate the option you want
Flip to mute
f this function is activated on your Huawei smartphone, incoming calls, timers and alarm clocks with associated vibration are muted when you turn the Huawei device over. For this you can individually determine whether only incoming calls or the alarm clock should be muted.

- Tap on Accessibility features
- Tap on Motion control
- Activate or deactivate incoming calls and/or Mute timers and alarms
