Switch Access
Switch access allows people with motor impairments to operate the Huawei smartphone and other mobile devices using one or more switches. With the help of switches you can select elements, scroll, enter text and more. Suitable devices can be connected via USB or paired via Bluetooth.





- Open the settings
- Tap on Accessibility features
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Switch Access
- Activate or deactivate Switch Access
Touch & hold delay
On the Huawei smartphone there are menu parts or additional functions that you can tap and hold. This response time can be configured in three levels (short / medium / long). A very good example is tapping and holding an app shortcut on the home screen.





- Open the settings
- Tap on Accessibility feaures
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Touch & hold delay
- Choose between Short, Medium or Long
Click when cursor stops
If the Huawei smartphone is used with a mouse, you can set the mouse pointer to click automatically when it is stopped. The delay from the "click" is set using a slider.

- Tap on Click when cursor stops
- Activate or deactivate Click when cursor stops
- Pull the bar to set the click delay
Volume keys shortcut for accesibility feature
We can enable a shortcut of the operating aids on the Huawei smartphone to get quick access to a feature, such as TalkBack or colour correction. To do this, we press both volume buttons for three seconds. We can determine whether this function is already allowed on the lock screen.
