OnePlus How to Assign Contact Details

We can add a photo or profile picture to each contact stored on the OnePlus smartphone, which will appear next to the name in the Contacts or Messages app.

For example, when we receive a call from the contact, the specified profile photo will be displayed on the caller or message screen.

Before selecting a photo, the Contacts app on the OnePlus device will ask us whether we want to select a picture from memory or take a new photo directly.

To make sure that no friend or even family member's birthday is forgotten, we can add the birthday of the respective contact in addition to the addresses or phone numbers and save it on the OnePlus smartphone.

If the display of the birthdays of the corresponding Google account has been activated in the calendar settings, we will be additionally notified.

If we contact a stored contact on the OnePlus smartphone more often, it can be marked as a favorite to ensure quicker and faster access, as it is displayed at the top of the Contacts app, for example.

Note: In the same way that a contact is marked as a favorite by means of a star symbol, we can also remove the favorite again.

We can select a personal ringtone to the contacts stored on the OnePlus smartphone, so we can recognize who is calling from hearing the ring tone.

Besides the selection of the pre-installed ringtones, we can also define our own files, such as mp3s.

The contacts stored on the OnePlus smartphone can be edited at any time if any information has been entered incorrectly or another detail has been added.

When editing, it makes no difference whether information is added or an existing detail field is edited or even deleted.

When using the dual SIM feature on the OnePlus smartphone, we can also assign a SIM card to the stored contacts, which is automatically dialed on each outgoing call without the device asking which number to use.

Note: For contacts that do not have assigned a SIM card, we are asked before the call and we can also set the default SIM for outgoing calls to the phone number directly.
