OnePlus How to Set up Data Warning & Limit

Automatic disconnection from the network
In addition to data warning, the OnePlus smartphone has a feature that automatically disconnects all data connections after a set data limit is exceeded.
A data connection via a WiFi network is still possible.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on Wi-Fi & network
- Tap on Data usage
- Tap on Billing cycle
- Enable or disable Auto-disconnect from network
- Confirm with OK
Set data limit
If Automatic Disconnection of Network Connections is enabled on the OnePlus smartphone, we can set our own data limit.
Once the set value is reached or exceeded, all mobile data connections are disconnected and will not be reactivated until the selected billing cycle is reset.
A network connection via a WiFi network is still possible without restrictions.

- Set a data limit and tap OK
Set data warning limit
After enabling the data warning on the OnePlus smartphone, we can set a limit that we will be notified when the data warning is exceeded.
Note: We recommend a data warning limit of approx. 80% of the actual data volume to be able to react in time before the limit is used up.

Data warning
We can activate a data alert on the OnePlus smartphone to gain a little more control over the consumption of mobile data and, if necessary, limit ourselves when the data volume is used up.

- Enable or disable Set data warning
Billing cycle date
We can determine the billing cycle of the set data warning and data limit on the OnePlus smartphone ourselves, as with some mobile phone providers it is not always automatically the first day of the month.
When the set day is reached, the counted data consumption is set to zero and logged again.
