Trusted devices
In addition to trusted locations, Smart Lock includes the ability to set equally trusted devices that will prevent the OnePlus smartphone from locking automatically even when the feature is enabled.
The devices must first be paired via Bluetooth in order to be activated.
A trusted device could be, for example, a Smartwatch that is carried within range of the smartphone.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Security & lock screen
- Tap on Smart Lock
- Enter the current pattern, PIN or password
- Tap on Trusted devices
- Tap on Add trusted device and follow the instructions on screen
Trusted places
Smart Lock comes with a feature that allows us to select trusted locations where the OnePlus smartphone will remain unlocked, even if an automatic screen lock has been activated.
For example, a trusted place next to the home could be the workplace if the device is used for work.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Security & lock screen
- Tap on Smart Lock
- Enter the current pattern, PIN or password
- Tap on Trusted places
- Tap on Add trusted place and follow the instructions on screen
On-body detection
On-body detection is a smart lock feature that leaves the OnePlus smartphone unlocked as long as it is worn or moved, even if an automatic lock is enabled.
As a security warning, it is important to note that the device does not recognise who is carrying it, and in the event of theft, the lock can initially be bypassed.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Security & lock screen
- Tap on Smart Lock
- Enter the current pattern, PIN or password
- Tap on On-body detection
- Enable or disable On-body detection
- Confirm with Continue
