Camera shutter sound
In the settings of the camera app on the OnePlus smartphone, we can disable the camera shutter sound at any time if it is perceived as annoying.

- Open Camera
- Open the Settings
- Enable or disable Shutter sound
Dialing keypad tones
When we dial a phone number using the dial pad of the phone app on the OnePlus smartphone, we receive an audible signal or feedback for each digit entered to confirm the entry.
Many smartphone users find the dial keypad tones annoying and immediately disable them, which also works anytime on the OnePlus device.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds & vibration
- Tap on System sounds
- Enable or disable Dial pad tones
Screen lock/unlock sound
If we lock the OnePlus smartphone via the on/off button on the edge of the device, we get an acoustic feedback in the form of a tone by default, which is similar to a lock.
The screen locking sounds can be enabled or disabled at any time if the user wishes to do so.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds & vibration
- Tap on System sounds
- Enable or disable Screen locking sounds
Screenshot sound
If we take a screenshot or a capture of the screen on the OnePlus smartphone, by default, a sound will be heard to inform us about the single frame recording that has been made.
If desired, the screenshot sound can be (de)activated at any time if the acoustic feedback is perceived as disturbing.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds & vibration
- Tap on System sounds
- Enable or disable Screenshot sound
Touch sounds
If we touch menu items in the system or the navigation keys on the OnePlus smartphone, we receive a short tone or acoustic feedback that informs us of the selected input.
If desired, the touch tones or sounds can be (de)activated at any time to further adapt the navigation on the device to the user's needs.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds & vibration
- Tap on System sounds
- Enable or disable Touch sounds
