Tone Balance
We can adjust the audio balance on the Xiaomi smartphone to the user's needs by means of a slider, which allows the audio volume of the left or right output channel to be adjusted completely continuously.
Note: Headphones or headsets are provided for the output of the specified audio balance settings, as many Xiaomi devices only have one speaker, otherwise this function is not necessary.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Hearing
- Swipe left or right to adjust the audio balance
Caption
Depending on the file being played, we can set the Xiaomi smartphone to display subtitles/Captions when they are available,
adjust the style, whether the text is displayed on a dark background, and set the text size. In addition, the Xiaomi device offers the ability to create a custom style in which we can specify a font, change the background transparency, or select a border.
Note: in this tutorial we will create a personalized style, choose the font family "Italic" and set the text transparency. the steps mentioned above are only for illustration and can be skipped. other options can be reached the same way.

Mono Audio
If this function is enabled on the Xiaomi smartphone, the channels are connected during audio playback, which means that the left and right speakers play the same audio content.
