Show Palm
By default, the "Show Palm" function is activated on the Samsung device. This is a gesture that can be used to take photos (selfie). By showing the palm of your hand, a short timer is started (3 seconds) until the shutter is released automatically. This function is especially helpful when the Samsung device is a long distance away, for example on a selfie stick. In the camera settings, "Show Palm" can be switched on/off.

Floating shutter
the floating shutter release is another additional button to create a photo. the floating shutter release can be activated in the camera settings and can then be placed at any position on the screen of the Samsung device. especially with selfies, the alternative shutter release is a great help.

When tapping and holding the camera shutter release button, a continuous shooting is created by default, but the camera settings of the Samsung device also allow you to change the action to "Take burst shot" or "Create GIF".

For selfies, the Samsung device allows you to enable the "Tap screen" function, which allows you to take a photo by simply tapping on a free area on screen.
