Camera filter
With the Samsung device you can not only take "natural" photos but also those with filters, and depending on the model, many different filters are available, including the popular filters such as black and white, sepia, pale or warm.



- Open the Camera-App

- Wipe to the desired filter
Change camera mode
The Samsung device has many different camera modes, allowing us to take panoramic pictures in addition to photos and videos. The following modes are common on mid-range and high-end Samsung devices:

- Tap on More to get more camera modes
Record Video
In addition to photos, you can also record videos on the Samsung device, simply by changing the recording mode.
Note: After changing the mode, the camera view is smaller, which is normal as videos are recorded in a lower resolution.

Scan QR Code
QR codes can also be scanned with the camera of the Samsung device. if there was a separate mode in the past, newer Samsung devices (from Android 10) can detect and scan QR codes via the normal photo mode of the camera app. In order for the camera to detect the codes, the function for this must be activated in the settings.

Timer
in some situations we want to take a photo of ourselves. if we put the samsung device on the table, we can activate the self-timer, which means that the photo will only be taken when the timer expires. on the samsung device we can set the self-timer to 2, 5 or 10 seconds.

- Choose desired Timer
Switch Cameras
To create selfies, we can simply use the front camera of the Samsung device, there is no second app or anything like that, just tap the "switch" to change the camera.

Camera flash
With the camera flash, you can take photos even in dark rooms, and in addition to the automatic mode, we can also permanently switch on the flash of the Samsung device (when taking a photo).
Note: The flash is rarely used, especially on mid-range and high-end smartphones. We recommend using the flash only in dark rooms for a natural photo.
